You will find that Life Groups are going to become the heart of our church life. They are a place where people of all backgrounds gather, become friends, grow in their faith, and have fun. These small groups and service teams will meet in various locations around the area or gather to volunteer in projects in the church or to impact our community. Life Groups are a great way to “Get Grouped” and “Get Closer To God.”

Winter/Spring Life Groups Begin The Week Of February 19th - Our small groups are a great way to deepen your faith and deepen your friendships with others. The groups will meet once a week beginning the week of February 19th for up to eleven week (a few groups have already started but you are still welcome to join them).

Understanding The Sihkism -We see the men with their turbans and long beards as well as the boys with the bunched hair and cap. Did you ever wonder - who they are and what they believe?

Verbs Of God - God is.....? - Who is God to you? How do others describe God? Join us Sunday evenings at 6:45 as we look more deeply at a variety of verbs that the Bible gives us about God.
     When/Where: Sunday evening, 6:45pm, FCC Kent

Women Of The Bible - join the group and look more deeply at women of the Bible - Sheroes of our faith!
     When/Where: Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. (this group is currently meeting), FCC Kent

Monthly Movie Group - Once a month on Saturday mornings this group meets at Kent Station to watch a movie and they gather for a discussion.
     When/Where: Kent Station, call the church office for the next outing in February

Letting The Fur Fly - Do you like to discuss controversial books on faith and social issues? Are you able to keep your passion under control? You are welcome to join us as we look at two books - one from "the left" and one from "the right" for a good dialog.
     When/Where: The group will meet following worship on February 19 to make its final book selection and meeting time.

Introduction To Contemplative Prayer - Would you like to deepen your prayer life? Come on Tuesday evenings at 7 to learn more about contemplative prayer and meditation practices.
     When/Where: Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m., FCC Kent

IFirst Friends - Our New Midweek Program For Children aged Kindergarten – Sixth Grade. A Family Style Supper/Games/Stories/Singing kind of group. Come Try Us Out - See Our Midweek Miracle Where Our Guiding Rule Is Lived Out… “Everyone Is A Child Of God And Will Be Treated That Way”
